Sick little boy

Friday night Aiden spent the night with his nana, which is Anthony's mom. We got a call at 4 oclock in the morning and Aiden was not a happy camper. Very fussy, which is unusual because he usually does great on overnight stays. She said that he was stuffy and seemed to be running a fever so Saturday morning I had Anthony take him to the doctor while I wen't to work. I hated not being there at the doctor with him. This is the first time I haven't been able to make it. Anyways, the doctors determined that our little man has a sinus infection =( So he's been feeling pretty lousy these past couple of days. But to be a sick baby, he sure does have some energy. I don't think anything will hold Aiden back from crawling around the house with that big smile on his face, but he has had his moments where I can tell he isn't feeling like his usual self. The doctor said he should be over it within a couple of days though, so i'm thankful it's nothing too serious. Other than that, we had a beautiful weekend...finally! Aiden got to play outside on the swingset (while I held him ofcourse) and we took a couple of strolls around the yard too. I'll be glad when the spring time finally gets here, because I can tell he really likes being able to get outdoors.

Valentine's Day

Aiden's firsr Valentines Day wen't well. He ofcourse didn't know what was going on, but he did get a card and a big valentines day bear, so he liked that. I had to work all night, so Anthony and I didn't get to do anything special, but we are hoping to get to go out this weekend sometime. Speaking of working- I found a new job, quickly, thank the Lord, and I really like it. I'm hostessing at Chilli's and hopefully soon I will be able to move up to a waitress position, but the money is better than where I was and the people are great, so praise the Lord. Aiden is still growing growing growing! No new changes just yet. Crawling around everywhere and talking up a storm, so now we're just waiting on him to start walking, which won't be long. I'm excited for him to go back to the doctor so that we can figure out how much he weighs. He's definitely kept me on my toes lately now that he never sits still. He's a very busy baby. We got our family pictures done about a week or two ago, so i'll try and upload some of them soon. They turned out great!

7 months

Tuesday was Aiden's 7 month old birthday. It's hard to believe that 7 months ago, I was just learning how to be a mom and take care of a beautiful newborn son. As every day goes by a love Aiden more and more, as if thats even possible. Life without Aiden seems purposeless now that he is such a huge part of my life. I am so grateful to have such a healthy and happy baby boy in my life and I thank the Lord every day for my son. As far as an update on him though, he is learning new words. Da-da, hey, yeah, and sometime bye-bye. No teeth yet, but I can feel a few underneeth the gums. I am predicting he'll be walking by 9 months, so we'll see, but he is progressing so much & is so incredibly smart. I am now looking for a new job, because they are about to let a couple of people go at my current job, due to not enough buisness, so please pray that I find a new one quickly. Thats all for now, i'll update the next chance I get =)

update

i havent updated this in a while. we found a house, and we are all moved in now. we like it a lot. the neighborhood is nice and quiet, with a fenced in backyard. and anthony's grandparents are living with us now, which is helpful with everything, especially aiden. he's about to be seven months old now. not too much has changed with him, he's into everything and pulling up on things. i have a feeling he'll be walking within the next couple of months. he's growing up so fast. still no teeth, and he hasn't quite mastered crawling yet. he can scoot around on his tummy, but dosn't know what to do with his hands and knees. school is in full swing now, so i have kept busy with that. i'll be extremely happy when thats over with, but that ofcourse, won't be any time soon. other than that, things are great. we still dont have internet at the house, but i'll try to update every chance that i get

Moving

These past couple of weeks we have been looking for a house. We're ready to get out of the apartment, so we've been praying that God will help us find a house that we all like and is in our budget. We have two houses to look at tonight. Out of all the one's we've seen, we've narrowed it down to these two, so i'm really hoping we get one of them. Aiden has his 6 months doctor appointment in the morning, i'm excited about that, I love seeing how he is doing from a doctor's perspective. Today is my day off so i'm going to go enjoy my time with my little munchkin!

New Year

Happy New Year!
Anthony and I wen't out for new years eve so aiden stayed with his grandma and paw-paw. New years day we all wen't to my granny's for lunch, as we do every year. The rest of the weekend we have taken time out to relax, FINALLY! We have been so busy this past month. Aiden is 6 months old today so, happy half-birthday to him! My little boy is growing up entirely too quickly. As for a new years resolution, a personal goal is for me to lose atLEAST 30 pounds, which I have started my diet today, and would like to reach that goal by April 1st at the latest. For my family, I would like to get more involved with church and make it a regular thing to go every Sunday. We are always using the excuse that it is so hard to get up on those Sunday mornings(which it is), but thats no excuse at all, so I am hoping to go this Sunday. And for Aiden's goal, will be to start sleeping in his OWN bed. I worry so much not having him next to me at night, but it will be better for the whole family when we can start breaking this habit. 2009 has been the best year yet, but with Aiden in our family now- i'm sure it won't be hard to top. From getting engaged, to graduating to being a mom and starting college, me and my family have been so blessed this past year and i am so grateful to God for getting us through it all and being so gracious to us.
