Dear, Wonderful Weekend
Thanksgiving was great. We wen't to Douglasville to see my family. We haven't been there in a very long time so it was good to see everyone. I still don't like how they all get together in a church, I just feel like Thanksgiving would be more cozy if it were at someone's house, and we'd probably enjoy it more, but overall it was okay. That afternoon we wen't to Anthony's moms to have Thanksgiving with his family & that was nice too. Aiden looked so cute in his little outfit, and he did really good with everyone. We tried feeding him some sweet potatoes but he wasn't liking that too much. Anthony and I got up early for black friday shopping. We got all of Aiden's Christmas shopping done and boy does he have a lot of stuff. That night we set up the tree and wrapped all of his presents. I can't wait to see him open them all. Saturday we wen't out for Anthony's 21st birthday, that was fun. Overall we had a great holiday weekend, and it was all the more special being able to share it with Aiden this year. Can't wait for Christmas!

Dear, Holidays
Aiden's first Thanksgiving will be Thursday. We have so incredibly much to be thankful for. First off being that Anthony and I became parents this year. We have a beautiful, healthy, happy baby boy & we are just so proud of him. I graduated highschool & also started college, and we have a beautiful home and both have jobs. I'm very thankful for Anthony & Aiden. They mean the absolute world to me.
On another note, I'm excited to bring Aiden to Douglasville for Thanksgiving so that the family can see him. Next week he will be 5 months old, which is crazy. And Anthony's birthday is also Friday, he will be 21. So we are busy busy busy. I can't wait to get the rest of Aiden's Christmas shopping done on Friday.
Anthony has had a high fever since the weekend, so he may have the flu. I'm praying that Aiden dosn't catch it & he will remain healthy & hopefully not get sick this winter. Thats all for now. =)

Dear, Sickness
Well, I've been sick for about half a week now. I have a doctors appointment scheduled for tomorrow afternoon and needless to say, i'm trying to keep my distance from Aiden as much as possible, but that isn't seeming to go too well, since I take care of him all day. Today he is at his Grandma's though so that I can get some rest. I hope & pray that he dosn't get whatever this is that I have. His cough and congestion wen't away so we definitely don't need him getting sick again. I can't believe he will be 5 months old very soon! Time goes by too fast! Can't wait for Aiden's first Thanksgiving next week, and Anthony's 21st birthday. We will have a very busy week next week.

Dear, Busy Weekend
While the boys are asleep I figured I could get in enough time to write a little. Lately, we've been staying so busy. We took Aiden to the doctor this morning. They said he was just fine, maybe a little cold and to do some saline drops in the nose to clear up the congestion. So I was very happy to hear that it was nothing serious. He also seems to be feeling a lot better. And has also been sleeping through the night this week. It was another beautiful day today. We helped April & Shane move into their new house all day. It was so nice, and made me want a house really badly. But, the apartment will do for the next couple of years. I'm just thankful to have a bigger apartment than what we started out with. Aiden spent the day at Anthony's grandma's. He really loves it over there. They bought him a bebe' pod chair to help him with sitting up by himself. But, I am proud to say that he sat up last night for a good minute or so without tipping over. Oh, and he also gained a pound since the last time we had been to the doctor 12 days ago, which brings him to 16 lbs 6 oz. He has now doubles his birth weight. Such a big boy =) After a long day of moving we're finally at home, the boys are both asleep before 11 o'clock, which is a nice treat & I am all done with school work. Time to finally rest, and off to church in the morning.
Goodnight =)

Dear, sunshine
So it is finally beautiful outside! Thank God for gorgeous weather. And it is also the weekend =) I set Aiden up a doctors appointment for tomorrow morning at 11:30, his congestion is getting pretty bad, so i wan't to be safe and just make sure it's nothing serious. So pray that he's just fine. He's been great today though, and he's taking a nap right beside me now. I'm so ready for a relaxing weekend!

Dear, Thursday

Last night Aiden actually put himself to sleep without a bottle. That is a first. He usually always has to have a bottle in his mouth while falling asleep but around 11 oclock, he was wide awake and feeling very playful & anthony and i were very tired, so we layed him in between the two of us, and let him play and get out all of his energy. About 30 minutes later i looked over to him and he was sound asleep. too precious. He also slept through the night which is always great. He has been pretty fussy today and still has a runny nose and cough, but he is now taking his 3rd nap of the day, so i'm appreciating that. If he still hasn't gotten better tomorrow I will take him to the doctor, I hate seeing him sick. Well he just woke up, so I'll cut this short.

Dear, Rainy day
So it's STILL raining! And Aiden also still has a cough & slightly runny nose. But, I'm hoping it won't get any worse than that. No fever yet, so thats a good sign. He's been pretty fussy all week, but hopefully it is just from teething. Only 2 1/2 weeks left until i'm done with my first semester! Thank God! It gets tough trying to be a mom & go to school & work, but it'll all be worth it in the end. Anthony is getting a lot of hours at work and is also having to work weekends now. Me and Aiden definately miss him, but the money is good. We've started going to church. I'm really happy about that. I wan't Aiden to grow up with church friends & also have a close relationship with God. I know it'll change the type of person he is if he stays in church growing up & that's really important to me. He's just about started sitting up on his own, and his little legs are getting so strong, he's always wanting to stand up on our legs. Thats all for now, here are some pictures from today.

Dear Journal,
I figured that I needed to have something to look back on, that reflected my life, so I'm going to start writing in this. Aiden is growing bigger and bigger every day. He never ceases to amaze me. He weighs 15 lbs and 8oz. now. We are still struggling to get him to sleep by himself, and through the night, but thats okay. He just started eating baby food and he does really well with it. I can't believe he's already over 4 months old! Time really does fly! Anthony and I have been together for almost 2 years. Now thats crazy! But we'll do everything in our power to always stay together and provide the best life for Aiden. He's been fussy lately due to teething. He had his 4 months check up last week. The doctors said he was big for his age (but that was ok) and that he was doing really well. They said he's a perfectly healthy baby, so I am always so happy to hear that. It's so crazy how all of the little things he does makes me so happy. He brings me so much joy, I just can't imagine not having Aiden in my life. I thank God every day for blessing me with such a beautiful, healthy and happy baby. ♥
